Privacy Policy
Nexus OS (“Nexus,” “we”) is a software platform for property inspectors, operated at proptech.nexus. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Who this covers
- Inspectors and companies that sign up for Nexus OS (our customers).
- Creators and affiliates in our creator program.
- Visitors to proptech.nexus.
- Clients of our inspector customers (home buyers, agents) whose details an inspector enters into Nexus. For that data the inspector is the business responsible for it, and Nexus acts as its service provider.
What we collect
- Account details: name, company, email, phone, service areas, branding you choose.
- Business content you create: bookings, inspection notes, photos, reports, customer records, agent contacts.
- Billing information: handled by Stripe. We receive your plan, status and the last four digits and brand of a card, never the full card number.
- Payout information for creators, collected by Stripe Connect so we never see your bank details.
- Usage and device data: basic anonymous visit and install counts, error reports, and diagnostics you or the app send us so we can fix bugs.
How we use it
- To run the platform: bookings, field app, report generation and delivery, your website.
- To bill you and pay creators.
- To send transactional email such as receipts, report delivery, security and account notices.
- To support you, find and fix bugs, and keep the service secure.
- To improve the product using aggregated, non-identifying statistics.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your customers’ data for advertising.
AI features
Some features (report writing, site design, messaging help) send the content you provide to AI model providers to generate a result. We send only what a feature needs, and we do not allow those providers to train their models on your content under the terms we use.
Service providers we share data with
We use trusted vendors to operate Nexus: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Stripe (payments and creator payouts), Google (email delivery and file storage for reports and media), an email delivery provider, and AI model providers. They process data only to provide their service to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety, or in a business transfer such as a merger.
Google user data
Nexus uses Google services (such as Gmail sending and Google Drive storage) from Nexus’s own business account to send email and store files for the platform. Information obtained through Google APIs is used only to provide those features, is not sold, is not used for advertising, and is not used to train AI models.
Cookies and tracking
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure. Our visit and install counts are anonymous and aggregated. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the signed-in app.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax and dispute purposes afterward. You can ask us to export or delete your account data by emailing support@proptech.nexus. Inspectors are responsible for responding to deletion requests from their own clients, and we will help.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and logging. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Children
Nexus is a business product and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
If we make material changes we will update the date above and, for significant changes, notify account holders by email.
